![]() ![]() Adventure Trek – an interactive video game played on the top three floors of the Lodge is a big hit with young and old alike. Hi Valued Guest! First, we would like to thank you for being our Guest and thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to write a review for Trip Advisor! With our Adirondack-theme décor, Guests love the woodsy feel to our Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark! You are so right with all there is to do for families. Worth the stay if you’re traveling through the area. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk, the receptionist told us she was only aware of an “ant problem” - luckily, we missed those. One problem with the rooms were what seemed to be a bug problem – there were several flying insects (and worse) in our room. At times the phones didn’t work and we were given two different rooms for two different nights (although the front desk fixed that problem with an upgrade). Being Six Flags season pass holders, the reservation process wasn’t easy. The wand game has experiences on every floor, which caused lots of running and noises on our floor in the evening. There are two restaurants and an arcade in the hotel, so there is not much reason to leave with the exception of the amusement park. For those staying in premium suite rooms, a free breakfast is included (though not many food options were offered and you must bring the food back to your room). The hotel is only a short walk away from Six Flags, and had an indoor waterpark with a lazy river, water slides, and playground areas. For those who have stayed at Great Wolf, Great Escape gives the same experience. From the indoor waterpark, to the magic-wand type games, to the rooms with log cabin style bunk beds, the two hotels are incredibly similar. It was so similar, my family was convinced that the hotel was originally Great Wolf, but changed all the signs to read “Escape” rather than “Wolf”. ![]() If you’ve ever stayed at Great Wolf Lodge, this is the same thing.
